We provide a specialist volunteer wildlife transport service across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Our sole role is the safe, reliable movement of already-contained wildlife between veterinary surgeries, wildlife hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sanctuaries and other partner organisations.
Wildlife Hospital Transport (WHT) is a volunteer service that moves already-contained wildlife between veterinary practices, wildlife hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sanctuaries and other partner organisations.
A dependable transport link is often the missing piece that allows animals to reach the right facility quickly and with minimal stress. By reducing delays and unnecessary journeys, this kind of support can make a real difference to recovery rates and eventual release success.
I have practical experience both in wildlife transport and in hands-on work with foxes, birds and other species. Partner organisations I have worked with (including The Fox Rescuers, Lower Moss Wood Wildlife Hospital and Manchester Pigeon Rehab) are familiar with this background. That experience helps me handle animals calmly and efficiently during transfers.
The service itself remains strictly transport-only. I do not advertise a public rescue or emergency call-out service. Transports are arranged only when an animal is already safely contained and a receiving facility has confirmed they can take it.
The work is entirely voluntary. Donations are gratefully received and help cover fuel, vehicle running costs and equipment so the service can continue to support the network.
If you would like to discuss using this transport support for cases where a receiving place has already been agreed, please get in touch.
