Non-Emergency Transport for Contained Wildlife Casualties

We provide a specialist volunteer wildlife transport service across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Our sole role is the safe, reliable movement of already-contained wildlife between veterinary surgeries, wildlife hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sanctuaries and other partner organisations.

Important notes about the Directories

This is a practical reference list of wildlife hospitals, rehabilitation centres, specialist rescues and RSPCA contacts covering Greater Manchester and Cheshire (compiled mid-2026).

Many of the smaller rescue organisations and specialist groups (especially hedgehog, pigeon, fox and bat rescues) are run entirely by volunteers from their homes or smaller units. Always telephone or message first to confirm they are currently accepting animals and can help with the species/location involved. Facebook groups are often the most up-to-date way to reach some of the smaller networks.

If you can’t find what you need in this WHT directory, try the national HelpWildlife.co.uk directory. It lists hundreds of wildlife rescues and rehabilitators across the UK and is searchable by location and species.
