Non-Emergency Transport for Contained Wildlife Casualties
We provide a specialist volunteer wildlife transport service across Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Our sole role is the safe, reliable movement of already-contained wildlife between veterinary surgeries, wildlife hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sanctuaries and other partner organisations.
IMPORTANT: NON-EMERGENCY SERVICE
We are NOT a rescue, capture, or emergency service.
We are a volunteer transport-only service.
Our role is limited solely to transporting wildlife that has already been safely contained by the finder or another party.
We do this only for contained animals that need to be moved to (or sometimes from) a veterinary surgery, wildlife hospital, or sanctuary, and only if prior arrangement/agreement for that specific case/animal has been agreed with the receiving organisation.
We Do Not
- Capture, net, handle, or contain wildlife on scene
- Provide first aid, treatment, assessment, or advice
- Respond to emergencies or urgent calls
- Collect un-contained animals
If an animal is not yet contained or needs immediate rescue/help, please contact the RSPCA (0300 1234 999), a local vet, police (if public safety risk), or a specialist wildlife rescue organisation first.
